AM/DM - Procurement (Plant Buyer/Coordinator - IG)

Job Description:

• To adhere to the Purchasing Policy and Schedule of Authority and be responsible for internal control effective monitoring for the processes in the domain of job responsibility.
• Procuring exigency requirements of Manufacturing on priority & coordinating with CPO Buyer for other regular requirements of Plants
• Making procurement decisions, determining appropriate methods of procurement and performing cost benefit analysis.
• Reviewing product and service availability and/or pricing information and market intelligence
• Participating in supplier development process by locating, selecting and maintaining lists of potential sources of supply through supplier markets investigations
• Coordinate for reviewing supplier samples and/or product demonstrations.
• Knowledge of SAP Material Master Module, SAP ARIBA / Procure Tiger or other online procurement tools.
• Measuring supplier performance using rating systems or predetermined standards and co-ordinate approval process for new suppliers
• Resolving contractual disagreements with suppliers.
• Coordinating with users, Stores and accounts to resolve payment problems of suppliers.
