Job Description – Process Engineer

Position: Asst. Manager- Production

Department: Production 

Reports To: Production Manager 

Location: Kutch Cement Plant

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Diploma Cement Technology,

Experience: 5–10 years in cement manufacturing process operations

Job Purpose

To monitor, optimize, and improve plant process performance, ensuring stable operations, quality production, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze process parameters across Raw Mill, Kiln, Cement Mill, and utilities.
• Optimize process performance to achieve production and quality targets.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Monitor specific heat consumption, power consumption, and process efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly process performance reports.
• Support commissioning, trials, and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and plant stoppages.
• Train operators on process control and operational best practices.
