Asst. Manager - Procurement (Raw Material)

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sourcing & Resource Development

· Evaluate and develop new business opportunities and raw material sources to ensure long-term resource security.

· Develop raw material sources for the upcoming Kutch IU and new projects, including Enhanced Duraguard requirements.

· Cost-effective supplies of microfiber

· Manage clinker sourcing and sales opportunities across East and Rest of India - ROI.

· Manage limestone sales from Deh Mines, Nagaur, Rajasthan.

2. Procurement & Sourcing Mix Management

· Develop and manage an optimum raw material sourcing mix in line with unit-wise operational requirements.

· Review material consumption patterns and optimize consumption in line with material quality and specifications.

· Drive cost reduction and value optimization initiatives across raw material procurement.

3. Plant & Production Coordination

· Coordinate closely with plant teams to align daily and monthly production planning with clinker and cement production targets.

· Monitor dispatches against planned requirements and proactively address potential supply constraints or disruptions.

4. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

· Coordinate with the logistics team to maximize integration and utilization of return fleets.

· Optimize transportation planning in coordination with procurement and plant requirements.

5. MIS, Reporting & Management Review

· Prepare accurate and timely MIS reports, dashboards, and management review packs.

6. Payment & Stakeholder Coordination

· Coordinate with SSC for timely payment follow-up and resolution of payment-related matters.
