Purpose of the job:
- CRO (Control Room Operator) is responsible to run the plant through control room DCS system, running plant efficiently and in optimized way, Emergency handling, maintaining power generation as per demand, monitoring of all running parameters continuously.
- This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the CPP/WHR systems and equipment, maintaining process parameters within the desired range, and responding to any deviations or alarms.

Job Description:
- Operate and monitor the control room of the CPP/WHR unit in the power operation department of the cement plant.
- Monitor and control process parameters, such as temperatures, pressures, flows, and energy production, to ensure optimal and efficient performance of the CPP/WHR systems.
- Coordinate with the production department to ensure a reliable supply of power and steam to meet production requirements.
- Theoretical & analytical analysis of Boiler, Turbine, WTP and CHP parameters & efforts to improve & sustain individual equipment efficiency.
- Calculations and understanding of combustion, Rankine cycle, Energy, SHR, SFC, SSC, Boiler efficiency and overall efficiency etc.
- Understanding of water quality/chemistry, the importance of periodical cleaning, soot blowers operation etc.
- Monitoring of all the running Boiler parameters on DCS, Emergency handling, black-out, Boiler startup/shutdown operation and maintenance activities.
- To maintain Power Generation as per demand with maintaining working/Design steam temperature and pressure.
- Recording running parameters in the DCS log books.
- Taking reports from Field Operators of their respective area about running parameters and any abnormalities in the field and instructing operators as per requirements, Checking Field log books on a continuous basis.
- Adherence to safety norms, knowledge of SOPs, Risk Assessments, LOTOTO procedures etc.
- Ensuring TPM/AM activities are being done with compliance on a continuous basis.
- Perform routine checks, inspections, and readings of gauges, meters, and control panels to ensure proper functioning of equipment and accurate data recording.

Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech

Experience:
Min 5 years’ relevant experience
|
