Civil In Charge - Sr. Engineer (Civil-NWI)

Job Description:

• Conduct studies related to the Improvement Portfolio, thus contributing in its development.
• Assist in the preparation of Civil job CAPEX (Capital expenditure) budget.
• Planning, monitoring & executing all types of civil work required for the plant and required for the other users.
• BOQ- Understands Preparing BOQ for various projects for new works civil related jobs,
• Bears thorough understanding of Fixed and Variable cost.
• Demonstrate Eye for details, accuracy in verifying departmental bills related to service, material/spare parts/capex items. Possess required SAP knowledge
• Define, follow-up and optimize project expenses. Understand project cost levers and how to use them.
• Able to Prepare project budget based on on-going and major operations

• To carry out preliminary (Opportunity, feasibility and Appropriation) in consultation with other dept.
• Assist plant people in elaborating ideas and plans regarding progress actions to improve long term efficiency of the operation.
• Ensure proper execution of projects through development of studies and/or implementation of small modifications or majorinvestments.
• Assist plant people in analyzing major problems which jeopardize the short-term operation.
• Ensure proper information and assist in plant people’s training regarding new installations.
• Although not directly involved in the plant operation, he/she must maintain a good understanding of the plant operation so that when called upon to assist in shutdown work or troubleshooting, effective assistance is given.
• He/She will be responsible for initiating and maintaining current and future equipment files as well as keeping plant drawing database up to date.
• To co-ordinate and follow up with other deptt, Supplier, purchase and stores for timely delivery of goods and services for project work.
• To attend any other unplanned job assigned by superiors.
