To ensure safe conduct of business aligned with the NVL Health, Safety and Environment Policy and Guidelines.
Lead the Plant Inventory Functions including Inward Goods Transportation and Scrap Saless function for plant locations (Total material receipts and issues of MINR **; inventory of MINR **)
To prepare action plans for improving inventory turnover, service levels and material handling. To optimize inventory level.
To co-ordinate approval process for PR with approving authority as per guidelines.
To consolidate similar needs across time and across departments.
To improve internal service levels (no stock-outs) by improving material planning and ensuring timely deliveries.
Develop and implement process of consolidation, standardization of items and arrange for internal developments.
To ensure appropriate storage and handling of all materials (as is required technically and as a good warehouse practice) to prevent damage or loss and to facilitate ease of picking.
To dispose-off Secondary Sales Items at the best possible realization.
Manitain supplier customer relationship by resolving the issues and complaints
To reduce PO to GRN process lead time.
