Engineer/Sr.Engineer- Packing Plant Operation

• To understand and control all physical flows of Railways rakes - cement (incoming & outgoing) to ensure safe and reliable supply for the given service level..
• He contributes to the overall performance improvement of the Loco section Operations, ensuring coordination and cooperation between his and other Railway operation / railway control room team and Packing Plant shift operations.
• Ensuring coordination and cooperation between his and other contractor’s manpower team to run the Loco operation smoothly.

Ensuring good cooperation with Loco drivers/ attainders for smooth shift operations to meet the daily target.

• Close coordination with packing plant dept, Logistics, Railway commercials and railway staff ( Cabin and controls) for Cement and clinker rake planning
• Close coordination with Packing Plant shift officers for cement rail targeted dispatch.
• Ensuring that he should know the daily Rake planning which circulated by Packing Plant Operation Head as an advance plan for the next day.
• Responsible for complete loco operation with optimized efficiency
• Coordination with Loco Maintenance dept for scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure proper analysis for deviations from set procedures and targets,
• Loco breakdown analysis and feedback to maintenance dept. for corrective actions
• Ensures all employment related standards, programs and procedures, including Health and Safety, are in place and adhered to in order to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and company policy
• Responsible for safe loco and yard operations in his shift operation activities.
• Responsible for statutory clearances from Railways as and when required basis as a member of team.
• Execute the plan provided by central planning dept. which is shared by Packing Plant Operation Manager.
• Ensuring that he should know about the all rail lines, Points, yard operations.
• He must know the process of railway communications.
• He must know about operation of rail yard, inside and outside of plant.
• He must contribute to maintain the good housekeeping around the full railway yard.
• Ensuring that manpower controlling related track inspection and Loco maintenance by 3rd party.
• Ensuring that in his shift operation, all rakes placement and hand over at given time and without delay.
