Job Description:

Financial Operations Review:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of General Ledger (GL) Charge accounts and Liabilitycodes, ensuring timely booking of bills with no pending items aged over 60 days.
  • Monitor all types of transactions including GRIR, Advance, Deposit, Provision, SRN, and Condition line items, taking proactive measures to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Statutory Compliance Management:
  • Ensure compliance with on-time payment of statutory dues such as TDS by calculating TDS payments accurately and making payments through SBI.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly TDS returns to TIN Facilitation Centres.

GL Code and Cost Analysis:

  • Perform comprehensive reviews of each GL Code, focusing on Liability against GRIR, Uploaded transactions, accrual liabilities, GST receivable accounts, and Deposits/advances.
  • Explore possibilities for Ind AS capitalization and harmonization of cost booking to avoid overlapping costs into the next month.

Financial Closing and Reporting:

  • Close books by D+1 with minimal provisions, ensuring adherence to new plant opening/closing checklists and regular monitoring of plant performance.
  • Prepare accrual liability reviews at the entity level, analyzing ageing and ensuring accuracy.

Process Integration and Testing:

  • Integrate activities to enhance governance and facilitate tracking of withholding tax and critical reports.
  • Lead testing of all new upcoming plants for RMX-West in the S4 HANA environment.

Excellence in Execution and Cost Leadership:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance execution excellence and implement a strict reporting framework to resolve old issues and maintain updated books.
  • Drive cost consciousness and achieve cost leadership through industry insights and benchmarking.
  • Identify areas of improvement and coordinate closely to implement smart working solutions.

Team Development and Innovation:

  • Conduct structured weekly review meetings with plant admin teams to identify improvement opportunities and innovative solutions.
  • Identify core competencies and provide necessary support for team development to progress on the career ladder and support organizational goals.
