Process Manager

Job Responsibility  

 As a part of the management team, promote safety in the plant. •

 Improve plant reliability and performance by optimizing the process. •

 Implement BU’s Quality, Environmental policy, standards & Ensure legal compliances. •

To ensure analysis, monitoring and quality control by implementing correction in each process as per norms in a cost economical manner.

 • Assist Marketing for IQP, market survey, benchmarking of products, competitors sample analysis and for redressing of customer complaints.  Contribute to reduction of production cost by optimizing the process, responsible for quality by making sure that standards & quality contracts are respected. •

To ensure training, motivation and people development in department. OBJECTIVE: • Zero LTI • Clinker C3S > 49% • IQP compliances > 95%

 • Kiln, cement mills reliability and utilization more than budget

 • Fixed cost within budget • Kiln feed & Clinker uniformity < 6

 • PPC strength uniformity for 28 Days < 2.0 • FA addition in PPC & CTO > 34% & 32% respectively. • Maintain lab accuracy > 90%

• Ensure 100% environment statutory compliance. • Use of neutralize gypsum > 40% Process: • Contribute to reduction of production cost by optimizing the process. • SUSTAIN/IMPROVE PLANT RELIABILITY AND PERFORMANCE BY OPTIMIZING PROCESS

 • OPTIMIZE USE OF ALTERNATE FUEL . Heat Balance & Optimization of plant . Circuit Sampling . Process data analysis , Production reports , Devaitions . Cost effective process measure . POP , ESG & PAT data analysis Environment:

 • ENSURE ENVIRONMENT POLICY & AUDITS, LEGAL COMPLIANCES. Non Financial Dimension: Sampling and analysis of processed and finished materials Statutory compliance related to cement product specification Statutory compliance related to Environmental compliances- air, water, bore well water, etc Statutory compliance related to Excise • Work in a cross-disciplinary way to optimize plant performance in cost effective manner.

 • Train and upgrade the skills to meet organizational goals.

 • Maintain all legal compliance related to Environment and Quality

• Deep analysis of quality , process parameters / operational parameters with limited resources and corrective action.

 • To meet management expectations especially quality product without affecting production level with maximization of C/K.

• Maintain production and quality of clinker/cement with heterogeneous mines.

 • Maintain / Improve quality with stringent IQP parameters with variations in Input quality (different sources of fly ash, gypsum, coal) as well as with high level of % CM addition. So satisfying customer needs in line with the BU strategy is a major challenge.

Qualification - B. Tech /BE -Chemical
