Job Description: RMH Handling Officer

Designation: Officer /Sr. Officer

Department: Production / Raw Material Handling

Reports To: RMH Incharge/Production Manager

Location: Kutch Cement Plant

Role Purpose

The RMH Handling Officer ensures efficient, safe, and compliant handling of raw materials (limestone, gypsum, clinker, additives) within the cement plant. The role focuses on maintaining continuous supply to production lines, minimizing losses, and ensuring quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise raw material unloading from mines, trucks, or conveyors.

Oversee storage operations in silos, stockyards, and bins.

Monitor material feeding to crushers, mills, and kilns.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with quality control to maintain raw material specifications.

Maintain documentation of receipts, consumption, and losses.

Report daily material handling performance to management.

Qualifications

ITI/Diploma/ or related field.

Experience

4–10 years of experience in cement plant or heavy industry operations.

Knowledge of material handling equipment (conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, crushers).

Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset.
