Section Incharge - E&I

1. Electrical & Instrumentation Inspection & Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and field instruments.

• Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults, power failures, and instrumentation issues.

• Perform insulation resistance testing, earth pit testing, and circuit continuity checks.

• Support the calibration and maintenance of pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.

2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Follow preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems.

• Assist in vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and power quality analysis.

• Ensure proper functioning of relays, circuit breakers, VFDs, PLCs, and DCS components.

3. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, electrical safety norms, and LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) protocols.

• Identify and report electrical hazards, loose connections, or faulty equipment.

• Ensure documentation of maintenance activities, inspection reports, and test results.

4. Support for Automation & Energy Management

• Assist in maintaining PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems by monitoring field signals and connections.

• Support energy efficiency initiatives by monitoring power consumption and identifying energy-saving opportunities.
