Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Shift In-Charge – E&IS to oversee and manage the electrical and instrumentation activities during plant operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of packing machinery, truck & wagon loading systems, and automation equipment, while supervising shift manpower to achieve optimal production efficiency and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Packer’s machines such as FLS Vento Digit, Beumer, and SamNav.
• Oversee and troubleshoot Truck Loading, Wagon Loading, and Weigh Bridge operations.
• Monitor and maintain DOL & RDOL feeders and LT Breakers for safe and efficient operations.
• Create and test machine-specific control programs using standard modules (PLC, HMI, process technology).
• Perform fault analysis and corrections for Packing Machines, Truck Loading, and Wagon Loading equipment.
• Commission and operate third-party devices (Proximity sensors, Photoelectric sensors, Rotary encoders).
• Develop and troubleshoot programs using FBD or Ladder Logic on Siemens, Rockwell, and ABB systems.
• Modify and update electrical control schematics as per operational needs.
• Interpret and analysecircuit drawings, diagrams, and machine specifications for maintenance and repair.
• Work with AC Drives, Soft Starters, and other automation-related equipment.
• Maintain proficiency in PLC networks, communications, and interfacing with various hardware/software devices.
• Handle and manage shift manpower, ensuring tasks are executed safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and operational protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: 4–7 years in Packing Plant Electrical & Instrumentation operations.
• Age: 25–35 years.
• Strong knowledge of automation hardware, electrical systems, and instrumentation components.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in plant operations.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and manage shift-related challenges effectively.
