Job Description of Senior Officer -Safety

• Enforce company policies and procedures and Safety and Health regulations and standards.
• Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations in plant.
• Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.
• Safety Induction and Training.
• Conduct Risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
• Carry out PTW Monitoring and review.
• Review Routine and Critical activities in plant.
• Conduct investigations of all accidents and near misses.
• Regularly inspect equipment.
• Carry out Emergency Mock Drills.
• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations as per Factory act 1948.
• PPE compliance.
• Good communication skill.
• Good knowledge of preparing Safety documentations and reports.
• Conduct ongoing review of operations and process to identify potential hazards, risks and control measures.
• Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems.
