1. Mechanical Maintenance & Equipment Reliability
  • Ensure efficient maintenance of mechanical equipment such as crushers, kilns, mills, conveyors, fans, pumps, and compressors.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, and calibration of rotating and static equipment.
2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems.
  • Conduct condition monitoring (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to detect early failure signs.
  • Implement maintenance best practices such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance).
3. Spare Parts & Inventory Management
  • Coordinate with the stores and procurement teams to ensure availability of critical spare parts.
  • Optimize spare parts inventory levels and minimize maintenance costs.
  • Maintain documentation for spare parts usage and maintenance records.
4. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and mechanical maintenance SOPs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits for mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and environmental norms related to mechanical maintenance.
5. Coordination & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with electrical, instrumentation, and production teams to ensure plant reliability.
  • Support plant expansion, modification, and debottlenecking projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
