Job Description:

1. Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance

• Design, Engineering ,Execution &  maintenance of E&I systems used in Kiln, and Coalmill areas.
• Ensure reliability of plant instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, SCADA,Aautomation systems , Electrical LV & HT System & Power distribution Networks.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and instrumentation issues to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Drive adoption of innovative technologies and best practices in E&I systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support shutdown and turnaround planning for electrical & instrumentation systems.

2. Power & Energy Management

• Monitor energy consumption and optimize power usage to reduce costs.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and efficiency improvement projects.
• Ensure smooth operation of captive power plants, DG sets, and substation equipment.

3. Safety, Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards , statutory regulations ,various Audit findings.
• Maintain records of maintenance schedules, logbooks, and calibration reports.
• Conduct safety meeting, training and awareness programs for the E&I team.

4. Project Execution & Plant Upgradation

• Support installation, commissioning, and upgradation of electrical & instrumentation systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for new project execution.
• Implement automation and digitalization initiatives to enhance plant performance.

5. Team Management & Continuous Improvement

• Lead a team of Electrical & Instrumentation engineers, Electricians, Ttechnicians, and contract workforce
• Train and develop the team for skill enhancement and best maintenance practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives & LEAP-O Implementation.
• Conduct RCA’s & their actions Implementation.

6. Spare Parts & Inventory Management

• Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure availability of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Work with procurement to ensure timely sourcing of materials and vendor coordination.
• Optimize spare parts stock levels to minimize costs without compromising availability.
• Experience of working in various SAP modules like PM & MM.

Qualification:

B.Tech in Electrical / Instrumentation

Experience:

Min 12 years’ experience

Key Differentiating Skills: Knowledge of E&I maintenance and equipments/spare parts.
