Shift in-charge - E&I (Sr. Engineer - E&I)  

Qualification : Diploma ,B.E. or B.Tech and Electrical Supervisor certificate Mining DGMS mandatory.) 
Job Description :

  •  Responsible for the maintenance and well being of the relevant equipment.
  •  Record some possible anomalies observed on the equipment during maintenance or inspection.
  •  Monitor the time requirements for each job and the optimal manpower and skills necessary for executing jobs.
  •  Supervise the trial of equipment after maintenance.
  •  Ensure that proper safety measures are being adhered to at all times by all personnel.
  •  Responsible for recording of daily job activities.
  •  Manage people working under me.
  •  Monitor job duration, cost and performance of crew.
  •  Recommend improvements for cost reductions.
  •  Ensure productive use of the crew.
  •  Specify work procedures if required.
  •  Monitor and controls overtime.
  •  Is responsible for the execution and the quality of electrical maintenance work to be carried out on plant equipment, respecting budget, policies and deadlines. Ø Contribute in his field, to the development of working methods and definition of procedures and ensures their implementation.
  •  Optimize maintenance operations, using best available tools and procedures in order to maximize equipment availability.
  •  Ensure proper day-to-day scheduling of works and necessary resources. Assign and review work to perform with the craftsmen.
  •  Ensure completion of major operations within schedule.
  •  Ensure, upon completion of repairs, that equipment is in good operating condition, ready to meet operational requirements, fully inspected, tested, clean and safe.
  •  Provide reporting on repair jobs including consumption of materials, specific tools, man-hours and skills, and fills equipment history files.
  •  Take adequate actions when electrical incidents occur.
  •  Manage his team, define the missions and objectives, carry out their performance reviews, promote the quality of the work, motivate his personnel, facilitate communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy).
  •  Ensure on-going skills enhancement of his team’s employees, helping the development and implementation of training plans. Coach his team’s.
