Shift in-charge -E&I-Senior Engineer 

Accountabilities

Major Activities

OH&S

 

Compliance to all OH&S objectives and targets

Reporting of UC, UA and NMR

Planning and Coordination

 

Prepare each week a draft weekly plan in SAP-PM, clearly showing available hours from the Maintenance technicians (mechanical, electrical) and the required workload (in order to determine need for Third Party Services and/or overtime)

Validate the draft weekly plan with respective Mechanical/E&I supervisors and Heads

Maintain PMRs in the SAP system (running inspections, stopped inspections), assuring the system delivers a balanced workload each week - 

Ensure PMRs on spare parts are carried out every week to guarantee they are stored in the correct manner. Train Warehouse personnel accordingly for effective execution of those PMR’s

Track notification quality and WBI quality – convert notifications to comprehensive work orders. Provide feedback to users for improvement in quality of notifications

Ensure availability of resources (all critical spares,technicians,contractors,etc.) to execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans as per schedule – get visibility on production plans to ensure proper planning and scheduling of maintenance activities

Manage Bill of Materials (BOM), track material requests and manage spare parts availability so that maintenance jobs can be performed on schedule

Update maintenance plans to accommodate for emergency breakdowns

Maintain and update maintenance and technical information in SAP – also train others in SAP usage

Generate maintenance KPIs weekly review and cost reports for monthly review – participate in weekly maintenance meetings

Participate in  shutdown planning and contractor management

Conduct surprise visits to check maintenance job execution quality and to further improve the instructions of work orders

Review key KPIs regularly including planned attainment, maintenance cost etc.

Ensure adherence to weekly maintenance planning and scheduling process

Verifies quality of Work Order feedback after execution done by respective Maintenance Supervisor and clarifies where needed to ensure quality

Performs Technical Closure (TECO) of Work Orders in the system and ensures that any open reservations are closed as well (to prevent unwanted material requirement and increase in spares inventory)

Processing of all service activities service PR after getting approval from unit head and followup with procurement.

Materials PR followup with procurement for PO processing with all technical approvals and materials delivery tracking with vendor.

Processing of all services activities invoicing like contact workers, AMC and third party.

Daily regularizing of manpower attenadance.

Daily preparing of planned Vs actual job completion and nex day plan alon with manpower.

Implementation of LEAP-O agenda (5S, AM, FI, PM)

 

Plant Improvement Initiatives and analysis

Monitor important maintenance KPI like Leading KPIs,  MTBF, and NAI and engage with other teams to incorporate the feedback in PM plans as well as setting improvement targets

Participate in RCFA – Solve, follow up of actions.

Present KPIs and cost in the Weekly meeting

Co-ordinate SMP creation for critical nature jobs and attach in SAP.

Monitors spares Inventory level and ensures that only those spares not available in either own plant inventory (or sister plant) are purchased
