Job Desc.

1. To execute plan, maintain, develop and monitor with all aspects of the Mechanical Maintenance of Roller Mills/Coal Mill (VRM) Make- Loesche and Pfeiffer and all types of equipment involved in Raw meal, Coal Mill and clinker grinding process and to ensure that these continues to operate at optimum levels with a minimum of downtime.

2. To Execute Operation & provide Maintenance of Cement Mill to ensure smooth operation, continuous production and to meet availability of the spares.

3. Should have sound knowledge VRM hydraulics.

4. Preventive maintenance - in-running attainable points like greasing, lubrication

5. Planning for next day work order, agency planning, material planning

6. Planning material requisition in SAP and service requisition in SAP for advance availability (e.g. Spares, pumps as per area assigned)

7. Resolving issues of breakdown in the machines and taking corrective actions

8. RCA (Why-why) analysis to avoid recurring breakdowns by having daily meetings

9. Recording of equipment status, running parameters

10. Opportunity maintenance monthly/daily - as per checklist of anomalies and report prepared schedule of maintenance to be done.

11. Assist in Shutdown planning : Manpower planning, tools and spares

12. To check the equipment for Preventive maintenance to reduce the sudden breakdowns

13. Execution of Shut Down and unplanned jobs to ensure smooth operation of plant and to handle new projects and initiative to reduce cost and time

14. Contribute to planning and purchasing of OPEX

15. Planning and scheduling of all preventative maintenance routines in SAP

16. Responsible for all spares, purchase and work orders

17. Inventory Management and PR/PO tracking in SAP.

18. Control cost of all the maintenance activities of Raw mill as per budget in order to optimize maintenance costs.

19. Preparing list for the shutdown jobs including indenting of the materials required for mentioned areas

20. Follow-up of the materials from Vendors, Purchase, Stores and Mechanical departments

21. Ensuring the receipts and issuing of materials with correct specification

22. Manpower planning & resource leveling to meet daily maintenance requirement,

23. Act as supervisor for maintenance team in absence of Section head

24. OT reduction by proper manpower management & resource utilization Planning and scheduling of all preventative maintenance routines in SAP
