Job Description:

Health & Safety

·       To ensure implementation of safe working practices

·       To ensure zero accidents in the QA department operations/activities by implementing group mandatory safety guidelines, best practices etc.

·       Risk assessment of functional activities & GRA /SOPs training to all NVCL officers & contract workmen on safe working, MSDS, SOPs, handling equipment’s, lab safety & chemical handling

Compliance of statutory requirements as per license 1489-P1

Product Quality

• Calibration of physical lab equipment’s & daily checks (as per schedule)
• Monitoring LAI, LERI & LRI in Physical Lab, RCA for LAI,LRI & LERI
• To coordinate & supervise physical testing of cement
• loading, grinding, packing ,clinker, market,& compliant sample  as per BIS/norms NC, Setting Time, LC, auto clave, Compressive Strength, Blaine ,Residue etc & data entry
• BIS Record keeping & data handling.
• Sample preservation & storage, Inventory control.
• Working Experience in SAP

• Miscellaneous work -supervision of subordinates, safety briefing, housekeeping

• Cement test certificate generation
• Inventory control.
• Working Experience in SAP

Customer Satisfaction

·       Maintaining customer product quality requirements.

·       RCA for customer complaints for zero complain.

General Co-ordination and productivity enhancement

·       Discussions at various forums for the matters related to:

·       Safety , Quality Systems, cost review etc. for achieving targeted level of performance for the plant through ensuring the implementation of the above in the department.
