Team Member-Electrical & Instrumentation - DCS

Key Skill: Hands-on experience in ABB 800xA DCS systems, PLC/DCS troubleshooting, instrumentation maintenance & calibration, loop checking, field instrument fault finding, process control knowledge in cement plant operations, SCADA systems, preventive and breakdown maintenance, interlock logic modification, alarm/trend management, communication protocols (Profibus, Modbus, HART), and shutdown maintenance planning. Process Automation & Control Philosophy. 

 

Experience: 8+ years of practical experience in instrumentation and automation within cement plant / process industry.

Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering.

 

Job Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of ABB 800xA systems, calibration of transmitters/sensors/control valves, breakdown analysis, preventive maintenance execution, commissioning of new instruments, coordination with production/mechanical/electrical teams, documentation of SOPs and reports, and ensuring smooth plant operation with minimum downtime. Logic Development & Interlock Handling, VFD / MCC Signal Interface Knowledge.

 

* Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and reduce recurring faults.

* Strong problem-solving mindset with focus on plant reliability and uptime.

* Capable of training junior engineers and technicians.

* Good communication skills and cross-functional coordination.
