  • To supervise mechanical maintenance activities of respective section/area of responsibility to achieve the highest level of quality, safety and effectiveness.
  • Ensure completion and quality of the execution of maintenance jobs.
  • Ensures timely inspection preventive and predictive of the equipments with record keepin
    • Within the framework of the Mechanical instructions given by the Mechanical Manager, in charge of grinding, clinker and cement production, cement storage after milling in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures and environment regulations.
    • Identify & undertake minor maintenance repair & adjustments
    • Support Root Cause analysis & propose improvement actions
    • Maintain the machine/equipment reliability during shift operation.
    • Coordinate all interventions in case of breakdown.
    • Monitor the equipment performance/parameters, loading/unloading operations for smooth plant operation during shift.
    • Take over the direct responsibility for the control of mill in case of complicated situation.
    • Ensure proper use of the equipment in particular to avoid damage.
    •    Adapt the tasks of the maintenance crew on shift to the shift situation.
    • Monitor the implementation of Safety procedures.
    • Organise the safety training of his team according to the safety training plan.
    • Organise or carry out the monthly controls of the equipment in terms of health, work and fire protection according to safety plan.
    • Ensure that the following reports are properly filled out
    • Daily reports
    • Shift report
    • Computer based shift report of incident analysis
    • First level and specific inspection of all plant equipment in all conditions (stoppage, running)
    • Give input for SOPs to make changes when necessary
    • Carry out the scheduled inspection of all plant equipment and initiate requests based on inspection results. In case of abnormality, perform first analysis and define priorities for each action.
    • Evaluate and improve the preventive maintenance job plans, create and update the corresponding inspection job plans, in coordination with the planner. Contribute to the analysis of failures and problems, recommending corrective actions.
    • Ensure the planned inspection of all plant equipment and initiate SAP work orders based on inspection results, including safety checks. In case of anomaly, performs first analysis and defines priorities for each action. Monitor and co-ordinate condition predictors, for all critical equipments.
    • SAP PM Module compliance.
    • Monitor and co-ordinate condition predictors, for all critical equipment through specific inspections.
    • Validate and update equipment specification files and history sheets.
    • Share with all departments & patrollers the outcome of inspection.
    • Keep in file the information related to the execution of inspection (first level and specific).
    • Propose economic ways to extend the life of plant equipment.
    • Shift activities of Mechanical during relieving shift/as per need
