Job Description:
Health & Safety
•    To ensure implementation of safe working practices
•    To ensure zero accidents in the QA department operations/activities by implementing group mandatory safety guidelines, best practices etc.
•    Risk assessment of functional activities & GRA /SOPs training to all NVCL officers & contract workmen on safe working, MSDS, SOPs, handling equipment's, lab safety & chemical handling
Compliance of statutory requirements as per license 1489-P1
•    marking fees, license fees, audits, sample collection for IS compliances.
procurement of lab equipment & other lab items, compliances to BIS control plan of product, Manpower, and other resources requirements on permanent / contract basis and also job contracts required, planning thereof and ensure timely calibration of lab equipment's, availability of manpower as well as timely job contracts, IS product certification etc. for plant operation.
Product Quality 
•    Calibration of chemical lab equipment's & daily checks (as per schedule)
Customer Satisfaction
•    To coordinate & supervise Chemical & PE testing of cement. 
•    loading,grinding,packing ,clinker, market,& compliant sample  as per BIS& IQP.
•    Free lime testing. of day average cement (Grinding & Packing)
•    Insoluble Residue & LOI in clinker, Cement Grinding & Packing ( Finish product & Raw Material)
•    BIS Record keeping & data handling.
•    Weekly full chemical analysis of Fly Ash including LOI & IR
•    Complete XRF Chemical analysis of PPC day average cement (Grinding, Packing & clinker
•    Clinker & Cement test certificate generation
•    Inventory control.
•    Working Experience in SAP
•    Miscellaneous work -supervision of subordinates, safety briefing, housekeeping
Customer Satisfaction
•    Maintaining customer product quality requirements.
•    Handling of customer complaints
•    Provide Shift quality control targets to production & review on daily basis.
General Co-ordination and productivity enhancement
•    To attend meetings, discussions etc., at various forums for the matters related to:
•    c) Safety    e) Quality Systems, cost review etc. for achieving targeted level of performance for the plant through ensuring the implementation of the above in the department.
