Technical Service Manager (East 2)

This position is responsible for

• Safety leadership in Technical Function
• Managing the Quality function in the Area by coordinating with BM, Cluster Managers & City Managers.
• Ensure procurement of the Materials & identification of the Sources.
• Validating the Mix Designs in the Area.
• Ensuring optimization of the materials by savings in the cost.
• Controlling the admixture cost & optimize cost/cum.

Safety

• Responsibility of Safety for the Quality Function
• Conducting VFLs  and interacting with plant employees on a periodic basis
• Educate customer on safety
• Ensuring 5S process in all plants.

VAP

• VAP product development
• Ensuring readiness of Plant for implementation of VAP
• Optimizing cost of concrete by preparing various designs pertaining to VAP
• Ensuring conduction of Product trials in the Plants

Optimization / Documentation / Control

• Preparation of Design Mix
• Uploading of Design Mix in Lab mixes and monitoring of the results
• Optimization of materials
• Preparation of Quality Plan
• Approval of the material sources and identifying sources of materials in the Area
• Ensuring Batching Sheet control in the plants by proper documentation
• Preparation of the Monthly Quality Reports
• Ensuring proper Test Plan for materials to be implemented
• Ensuring monthly plant calibration and relevant certifications from RMC authorities
• Monitoring checking of raw materials records and cube results.
• Testing & Admixture solid content for each load.
• Ensure sampling of Cement/Flyash/GGBS/Silicafume/Alcofines/Admixture for each load and available for 3 months for quality recheck.
• Conducting quarterly QC meet and provide the training on new products as required.
• Review of customer complaint and closure of FIR
• Ensure all admixture stock must be consuming with in 6 months.
• Upgrading of plant under QCI certification as per KPI

Customer Relationship

• Understanding Customer requirement and providing the customer relevant consulting on the probable Design Mix
• Solving technical problems and guiding the team to handle it effectively

• Ensuring submission of the Design Mix in coordination with the Client via the Plant Quality team
• Closing of customer complaints together with sales and operation team.
• Frequent Customer/Architect/Consultant and presentations
