Wagon Trippler Shift in-Charge

Job Description:

We are looking for a Wagon Tippler Shift In-Charge to oversee and manage wagon unloading operations in our cement grinding unit. The role involves monitoring wagon tippler and material handling systems, ensuring smooth and safe unloading of raw materials, supervising manpower, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise wagon tippler operations and ensure timely unloading of coal, clinker, gypsum, fly ash, and other raw materials.
• Monitor and control conveyors, side arm chargers, and associated equipment during the shift.
• Ensure compliance with safety norms and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Maintain unloading records, shift reports, and monitor demurrage/turnaround time.
• Lead and manage contract workers deployed at the wagon tippler area.
• Liaise with logistics, plant operations, and railway authorities for smooth material flow.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Mining / Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in wagon tippler operations or bulk material handling (preferably in cement/steel/power sector).
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems will be an advantage.
