Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Engg / Post Graduate in Management preferred.
Experience:
  • 5–8 years of experience in Channel Sales.
  • Experience in Building Materials (e.g., Cement / RMC/ Tiles / Paints / Steel / Construction materials) preferred.
  • Experience in developing dealer networks and driving volume in fragmented B2C/small contractor markets is desirable.
 
Position Summary
This role is responsible for driving RMX business in the assigned territory through channel partners. The individual will work with existing cement dealers and also identify and onboard new dealers to expand channel reach. The role involves identifying new dealers, enabling dealers with product knowledge, improving market visibility, and supporting them to deliver sustained volume. The incumbent will work with the ASM to achieve monthly volume targets, promote VAPs, maintain credit discipline, and build strong dealer relationships. This is a field-based individual contributor role requiring strong execution and consistent market engagement.
 
Job Responsibilities
1. Channel Network Development
  • Work with existing Cement channel dealers to promote RMX offerings and generate leads.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify potential new dealers/retailers/influencers and recommend them for channel appointment to ASM.
  • Support the onboarding , contracting and orientation of new channel partners as per defined policies.
  • Ensure channel partners are aware of product range, pricing, order process, quality requirements, and commercial terms.
  • Maintain and regularly update a database of channel partners and key influencers in the assigned territory.
 
2. Drive Volume & Revenue Growth
  • Deliver monthly RMX volume targets through assigned channel partners.
  • Promote VAP & solution-based products to improve product mix and enhance customer value.
  • Collaborate with channel partners to acquire business from small contractors, site-mix customers, and local projects.
  • Track and support lead generation from channel partners and coordinate with ASM for closures.
  • Ensure credit discipline by following up with channel partners for collection and payment timelines.
  • Monitor competitor presence, pricing, product differences and share market intelligence regularly.
3. Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Track daily/weekly sales, dispatch, orders, collections, and site activities of channel partners.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with partners and share reports with ASM.
  • Raise operational or commercial issues promptly and coordinate for closures with internal teams.
4. Channel Engagement & Sales Enablement
  • Ensure visibility through, branding, and merchandising support at dealer points and sites.
  • Conduct product awareness and solution-selling sessions for channel partners and influencers.
  • Facilitate plant visits, influencer meets, and annual dealer interactions.
  • Support rollout of sales incentives, dealer schemes, and loyalty/reward programs.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly bills and coordinate for release of payments.
