1. Participates in the 3-year investment plan.

2. Manages his team, defines the missions and objectives, carries out their performance reviews, promotes the quality of the work, motivates his personnel, facilitates communication and relationships (regular department meetings, reports to the hierarchy).

3. Ensures the permanent update of the personal skills, develops and implements a training plan.

4. Defines his department’s budget and negotiates it with his manager.

5. Keeps himself informed of general plant practices so as to ensure “on-call” duty.

6. Ensures working conditions and safety at work.

7. Ensures and controls quality of maintenance jobs from subcontractors.

8. Responsible for internal control effectiveness monitoring for the processes in the domain of job responsibility.

16. Ensures proper housekeeping during and after the maintenance.

17. Proper tracking of the Near Misses and any incidents (FAI, MI,LTI, Fatality) happened       in the plant.

18. Periodic maintenance of the Bag Filters to reduce the fugitive dust emission.
