Engineer -E&I

• Knows, understands the significance of  HSE policies, practices and systems for safe operations
• Shows commitment to its adherence and contributes in establishing it effectively in the workplace.
• Is aware of critical electrical, process, equipment and systems responsible for safe operations.
• Establishes a well set process, system for frequent checking and maintenance of electrical safety systems(aware of mines related electrical compliances )
• Understand electrical risks and appreciate the role that inspection and testing plays in ensuring .electrical safety Understands and prevents shock hazards and electrocution. Establishes a process in case of the same
• Able to handle blackout situation in plant and operate emergency DG to restore emergency power at all critical locations
• Ensures availability & capability of team to use fire extinguishers for electrical fire at panel rooms, MRSS etc
• Ensure compliance of key electrical safety activities and its execution.
• Able to perform E&I troubleshooting activities for plant continuity with proper SOP, Safety compliance:

*common for sections: Bag filter maintenance, Mill motor maintenance, separator, switch gear,VFDs, maintenance, Mill auxiliary equipments,PCC, MCC panel and room maintenance, greasing of motors as per schedule

• *Utility: Able to operate DG during power failure.Checking and maintenance of telephone lines and  telephone exchange, Quarterly checking of 3 phase tools, extension boards and sockets, Attending of break downs related to transformers, HT motors, Pump house, lighting, AC's, Compressor and Air dryer etc. Pump house equipment maintenance, Plant AC system inspection and record keeping

*Workshop: Based on the condition of Motors, executes arrangement of tools and tackles, Spares, maintenance of the Motor with the Workshop technicians. Follow up up with external vendors for the repairing of motors
