The LEAP-O Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, tracking and sustaining LEAP-O initiatives across the plant. The role focuses on improving plant reliability, operational efficiency, workforce capability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Leap-O pillars
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective implementation of 5S practices across the entire plant to enhance workplace organization and safety.
  • Prepare and present monthly LEAP-O progress presentations, including individual pillar-wise performance reports.
  • Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Pillar implementation for designated model machines through structured audits and operator involvement.
  • Implement and strengthen the Planned Maintenance (PM) Pillar with focus on SAP Work Order management and overall plant reliability improvement.
  • Monitor and analyse MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) to improve equipment performance.
  • Identify major plant losses, conduct/support for Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and initiate Focused Improvement (FI) projects / Kaizens to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Track and report monthly OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and OPE (Overall Plant Efficiency) & TAT
  • Support Education & Training (E&T) Pillar by selecting workmen for skill enhancement through structured interviews and training programs.
  • Organize and participate in LEAP-O competitions to promote engagement, awareness, and motivation across the plant.( Gate meeting , Presentation & training, competition etc)
  • Schedule & ensure monthly AM audits of equipment and 5S audits of all plant areas.
  • Schedule & conduct leap-O monthly gate meeting & updating area KPIs
