Officer - Mines Foreman

Job Description: Mining Foreman (Statutory position)

Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering having 2 - 3 years of experience

Company Designation: Officer, Band - F

Statutory certificate required: Foreman Certificate of Competency (Restricted) issued by Directorate of Mines Safety, Dhanbad

Job Description:

1. To perform the duties as blasting foreman / shift foreman as per Metalliferous Mines Regulation 1961
2. In absence of shift in charge to take responsibility as an In charge
3. Supervise mines in coordination with Mining Mate and as per the instruction of Shift In charge (Assistant Manager – Mines)
4. Having fair knowledge of blasting operation.
5. To prepare the statutory and management records / report of shift.
6. Optimisation usage of Mining Equipment, material and parts for improving productivity.

Skills Needed: Knowledge of blasting,MS Excel, MS Word and other computer basic knowledge.
