Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer (Sr. Engineer)

Location: Cement Plant (Packing Plant, Clinker loading, Weighbridge Systems)

Job Summary:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems in the packing plant, rail station, and weighbridge areas. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, optimizing performance, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Electrical & Instrumentation System Maintenance:
    • Oversee and maintain all electrical and instrumentation systems in the packing plant, rail station, and weighbridge, ensuring operational reliability and efficiency.
  2. Automation & Control Systems:
    • Implement and maintain automation systems, including PLCs and SCADA, to control and monitor plant processes effectively.
  3. Weighbridge System Management:
    • Ensure the accurate operation of both in-motion and static weighbridge systems, handling maintenance and calibration to ensure precise weight measurements.
  4. Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
    • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, and quickly address any electrical or instrumentation faults to minimize downtime.
  5. Installation & System Upgrades:
    • Manage the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new electrical and instrumentation systems, and recommend system upgrades to enhance performance.
  6. Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure that all electrical and instrumentation work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company policies, conducting regular safety audits.
  7. Training & Documentation:
    • Train operators and maintenance teams on system operations, while maintaining accurate documentation for all systems, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  8. Spare Parts Management:
    • Manage the inventory of critical spare parts for electrical and instrumentation equipment, ensuring that necessary parts are readily available for repairs and minimizing downtime.

Actively involvement and participation in Leap O activities like AM, PM, FI and 5S.
