Job Summary: Packing and dispatch officer responsible for packing and dispatch operations within a manufacturing facility. This role focuses on maintaining system reliability, optimizing performance, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Packing Operations: Ensuring products are accurately packed, print, and prepared for loading according to company standards and customer specifications.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting products and packaging for quality, ensuring adherence to safety and packaging guidelines, and identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Managing bags inventory levels of packing materials, coordinating with the procurement team for replenishment, and assisting in inventory audits.
  • Team Management and Training: Supervising and training packing staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Coordination with Other Departments: Collaborating with production, quality control, logistics, and railway teams to ensure a smooth workflow and timely dispatch of orders.
  • Process Improvement: Implementing and maintaining packing procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company policies, STAR Compliances.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of packed items, production reports, and performance metrics.
  • Stoppages booking in SAP and evaluate the stoppages in shift OR day.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, communication skills, and adaptability. 
  • Actively involvement and participation in Leap O activities like AM, PM, FI and 5S.
