Plant Technical Manager

This position is responsible for

• Safety Leadership in Quality at plant
• Managing the plant quality function by coordinating with STM / Plant Manager / SOM..
• Ensure procurement of the raw materials and identification of the sources for the plant.
• Validating the Mix design for the plant and sending to STM for validation and creation. After Creation sending to the MFA team for creation in SAP.
• Controlling the Admixture & Optimize cost / Cum
• Plant / Site Cube and workability management

IX) Job Responsibilities:

Safety

• Responsible for all quality lab safety on activities / equipment handing  / site QC activities.
• Needs to provide frequent refreshment training to his all N-1
• Escalate to next level immediately for any challenge on safety parameters
• Ensure 5S process maintenance.

Quality

• Quality testing of incoming raw material as per ITP

• Validate of new recipe created in Labmix by AQM / Super User and ensuring the same receipt in BCMIX.
• Maintaining raw material records and cube results.
• Upgrading of plant under QCI Certification as per KPI
• Testing of Admixture solid content for each load.
• Ensure sampling of Cement/Flyash/GGBS/Silicafume/Alcofine/Admixture for each load and available for 3 months for quality recheck.
• Ensure all admixture stock must be consumed with in 6 months.
• Reconcile of customer complaint and closure of FIR

Customer Service

• Understanding customer requirements in terms of grade of concrete required, delivery time, etc from the Marketing team
• Visit new customer sites to understand customer requirement in terms of the quality required by the client
• Understand technical issues of clients and resolve the same
• Regular site visit for general and post pouring.

Inventory

• Take inventory stock of cementetious material on a daily basis
• During month end raw material stock reconciliation, needs to support plant admin for the stock measurement.

Product Development

• Coordinate with AQM in research and development activities for developing Value Added Product which is developed in area lab.
• Conduct trials at the plant to customize the VAP to customer requirements
